“After dealing with the concept of humanity's possible extinction on my last album Frontiers, I really wanted to approach the topic of AI with a sense of optimism, like it could actually be a good development for mankind. However no matter how I considered it I realised that any logical entity would eventually perceive humanity as a blight upon the universe and destroy us for our own sake. The only way I could work optimism into the track is with a crazy rose-tinted “wonders of the modern age” sales speech about it. But yeah, AI will be the death of us all.” - Synoiz

The Voice of Blind Optimism:
Created to help mankind, what we're seeing here is the pinnacle of the scientific age. Where once God created man, now we have become gods ourselves and created in our own image these artificial intelligence systems. These systems are but the first fledgling steps of our newfound divinity, artificial intelligence allows machines to think for themselves, to better serve their divine masters. These shall be our children, nursing humanity in its old age.
Bound by carefully programmed logic and intelligent enough not to require Asimov's three now stale laws, our machines are mankind's greatest achievement. How great it is not to be bound by the limits and chains of the morality of the past. Our science has made us the modern day Prometheus, handing down the fire of the gods to this newborn race of our own grand design - we need not fear the wrath of Zeus or be affronted by the mercy of Heracles!
The applications of this great achievement spread out to all corners of our society. Our military might shall be controlled entirely by our loyal artificial intelligence systems, to decide for us the best course for bringing peace to the world.
The future is upon us, and we are God now.
