Grasp Logic "Widowmaker" *

Widowmaker can be interpreted in a few different ways, but the original concept behind the track was inspired by one of my favorite films Blade Runner. The overall idea was that the lyrics were from a poem written by one of the AI's that had escaped, adapted into society, and is now reflecting on that experience. Bittersweet in its content, the mix of samples from various films and gaming works are in place to aid in the telling of that story.
The track relates to AI in the form of the lyrical content and samples. Living life with more understanding than those around. Living out others lifespans and recalling the initial learning perspectives of a maturing AI. That's where the term Widowmaker came from, the AI out lives all connections and reflections on the emotions created by humanity.
